2036 is a graphic design exhibition. The three artists Garth Walker, the collectif H5 and Detanico & Lain, from very different cultural horizons, have been invited to design the identity of the Saint Étienne Biennial for 2036 (2008's twin calendar year).
This is a good way, both arbitrary and implacable, as well as necessary, to broach the question of a utopia and of sustainable development.
